• Dutch soccer manager Guus Hiddink received 'thanks' in the end credits because he was the coach of the Australian national team which knocked out Croatia in the World Cup 2006. As nobody would work on the film while Croatia was playing, this gave the production team of the film one or two extra days of shooting, in a tight schedule, as Croatia was eliminated.
